वेधाः स्वाङ्गोऽजितः कृष्णो दृढः सङ्कर्षणोऽच्युतः। वरुणो वारुणो वृक्षः पुष्कराक्षो महामनाः॥५९॥

vedhāh swāngo jitah krishno dhru-dah sankar-shano-cyuta-ha ׀ varuno vāruno vrukshah pushkarāksho mahā-manā-ha
English meaning
547. Vedhāḥ – One who does Vidhana or regulation. 548. Svāṅgaḥ – One who is oneself the participant in accomplishing works. 549. Ajitaḥ – One who has not been conquered by anyone in His various incarnations. 550. Kṛṣṇaḥ – One who is known as Krishna-dvaipayana. 551. Dṛḍhaḥ – One whose nature and capacity know no decay. 552. Saṅkarṣaṇo-acyutaḥ – Sankarshana is one who attracts to oneself all beings at the time of cosmic Dissolution and Acyuta is one who knows no fall from His real nature. They form one word with the first as the qualification – Acyuta who is Sankarshana. 553. Varuṇaḥ – The evening sun is called Varuna, because he withdraws his rays into himself. 554. Vāruṇaḥ – The Lord manifested as Vasishta or Agastya, the sons of Mitra-Varuṇa. 555. Vṛukṣaḥ – One who is unshakable like a tree. 556. Puṣkarākṣaḥ – One who shines as the light of consciousness when meditated upon in the lotus of the heart. Or one who has eyes resembling the lotus. 557. Mahāmanāḥ – One who fulfils the three functions of creation, sustentation and dissolution of the universe by the mind alone.

547 वेधाः – सब कुछ विधान करने वाले, 548 स्वाङ्गः – कार्य करने में स्वयं ही सहकारी, 549 अजितः – किसी के द्वारा न जीते जाने वाले, 550 कृष्णः – श्याम सुन्दर श्री कृष्ण, 551 दृढः – अपने स्वरुप और सामर्थ्य से कभी भी च्युत न होने वाले, 552 सङ्कर्षणोऽच्युतः – प्रलयकाल में एक साथ सबका संहार करने वाले और जिनका कभी किसी भी कारण से पतन न हो सके ऐसे अविनाशी, 553 वरुणः – जल के स्वामी वरुण देवता, 554 वारुणः – वरुण के पुत्र वसिष्ठ स्वरुप, 555 वृक्षः – अश्वत्थ वृक्ष रूप, 556 पुष्कराक्षः – हृदय कमल में चिन्तन करने से प्रत्यक्ष होने वाले, 557 महामनाः – संकल्प मात्र से उत्पत्ति, पालन और संहार आदि समस्त लीला करने की शक्तिवाले।
