Privacy policy
What we collect
We collect names, gotra, WhatsApp number, optional email, booking choices and, when needed, an envelope address. Kundli requests also include birth date, time, place and your stated concern. Payment providers process your payment; we do not store card or banking credentials.
Why and who sees it
We use these details to prepare your sankalp, carry out your booked service, deliver confirmation and proof, and answer kundli requests. Birth details and concerns are private to the authorised acharya team and admin. Payment, email and messaging providers process the details needed for their services. We do not sell personal data.
Retention
Kundli birth time and place are deleted 180 days after the answer. Other booking and payment records are retained as needed to deliver the service, handle disputes and meet applicable record-keeping obligations.
Your choices under the DPDP Act 2023
You can request access, correction, deletion or raise a privacy grievance through WhatsApp or seva@vishnupath.com. Include your booking reference so we can verify the request. Some legally required records may need to be kept. You can withdraw optional messaging consent; this does not undo processing already completed.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies. Essential cookies keep the site working (language, currency, booking session) and are always on. Google Analytics cookies help us understand which pages are useful. Google Ads cookies measure our advertising and, with your consent, support ad personalisation. Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland start with analytics and advertising cookies off until accepted; elsewhere they start on. Use "Cookie settings" in the footer to change your choice at any time; your choice is remembered for about six months.
WhatsApp consent and cookies
We ask consent before optional WhatsApp messages. You can opt out of optional messages with STOP. Booking messages are limited to your service. Optional advertising cookies are consent-gated; declining does not prevent booking. Private booking details are not sent to advertising services.
VishnuPath assistant
The website helper uses public catalogue information. Do not enter birth details, private booking links, payment details or OTPs into chat. Questions about existing orders and refunds are handed over to WhatsApp.
