भूतावासो वासुदेवः सर्वासुनिलयोऽनलः। दर्पहा दर्पदो दृप्तो दुर्धरोऽथापराजितः॥७६॥

English transliteration

bhootā-vāso vāsudevo sarvāsu-nilay-o-nala-ha ׀ darpahā darpado drupto durdhar-o-thāpa-rājita-ha

English meaning

708. Bhūtāvāsaḥ – He in whom all beings dwell. 709. Vāsudevaḥ – The Divinity who pervades the whole universe by Māyā. 710. Sarvāsunilayaḥ – He in whose form as the Jīva all the vital energy (Prāṇa) of all living beings dissolves. 711. Analaḥ – One whose wealth or power has no limits. 712. Darpahā – One who subdues the pride of those who walk the unrighteous path. 713. Darpadaḥ – One who endows those who walk the path of righteousness with a sense of dignified self-respect. 714. Dṛptaḥ – One who is ever satisfied through the enjoyment of His own inherent bliss. 715. Durdharaḥ – One who is very difficult to contain in the heart during meditation. 716. Aparājitaḥ – One who is never conquered by internal enemies like attachment nor by external enemies like the Asuras.

708 भूतावासः – समस्त प्राणियों के मुख्य निवास स्थान, 709 वासुदेवः – अपनी माया से जगत को आच्छादित करने वाले परम देव, 710 सर्वासुनिलयः – समस्त प्राणियों के आधार, 711 अनलः – अपार शक्ति और सम्पत्ति से युक्त, 712 दर्पहा – धर्म विरुद्ध मार्ग में चलने वालों के घमण्ड को नष्ट करने वाले, 713 दर्पदः – अपने भक्तों को विशुद्ध गौरव देने वाले, 714 दृप्तः – नित्यानन्द मग्न, 715 दुर्धरः – बड़ी कठिनता से हृदय में धारित होने वाले, 716 अपराजितः – दूसरों से अजित अर्थात भक्त परवश
