प्रमाणं प्राणनिलयः प्राणभृत्प्राणजीवनः। तत्त्वं तत्त्वविदेकात्मा जन्ममृत्युजरातिगः॥१०३॥
English transliteration
pramā-nam prāna-nilayah prāna-bhrut prāna-jeevana-ha ׀ tatvam tatva-videk-ātmā janma mrutyu-jarā-tiga-ha
English meaning
959. Pramāṇaṃ – One who is self-certifying, being Pure Consciousness. 960. Prāṇanilayaḥ – The home and dissolving ground of the Prāṇas. 961. Prāṇa-bhṛt – One who strengthens the Prāṇas as food (Anna) nourishes. 962. Prāṇa-jīvanaḥ – He who keeps human beings alive through the Vāyus known as Prāṇa, Apāna, etc. 963. Tattvaṃ – Means Brahman – like words such as Amṛta, Satya, Paramārtha. 964. Tattvavid – One who knows His own true nature. 965. Ekātmā – One who is the sole being and the spirit (Ātmā) in all. 966. Janma-mṛtyu-jarātigaḥ – One who subsists without being subject to the six kinds of transformation – birth, existence, growth, transformation, decay and death.
