सत्त्ववान्सात्त्विकः सत्यः सत्यधर्मपरायणः। अभिप्रायः प्रियार्होऽर्हः प्रियकृत्प्रीतिवर्धनः॥९३॥

satva-vān sāt-vikah satyah satya-dharma-parāyana-ha ׀ abhi-prāyah priyār-ho-rhah priya-krut preeti-vardhana-ha
English meaning
867. Sattvavān – One who has the strengthening qualities: heroism, prowess, fortitude, etc. 868. Sāttvikaḥ – One essentially established in the Sattva Guṇa. 869. Satyaḥ – One who is truly present in and established in good people. 870. Satya-dharma-parāyaṇaḥ – One who is the very foundation of truthfulness and righteousness in all their aspects. 871. Abhiprāyaḥ – The One sought after by those who seek the ultimate values of life (Puruṣārtha). 872. Priyārhaḥ – The being to whom whatever is dearest to oneself is fittingly offered. 873. Arhaḥ – One who deserves to be worshipped with all the ingredients and rites of worship. 874. Priyakṛt – One who not only merits love but who actively does what is good and dear to those who worship Him. 875. Prītivardhanāḥ – One who enhances the joy and devotion of His devotees.
