यज्ञभृद्यज्ञकृद्यज्ञी यज्ञभुग्यज्ञसाधनः। यज्ञान्तकृद्यज्ञगुह्यमन्नमन्नाद एव च॥१०५॥

yagna-bhrut yagna-krud yag-nee yagna-bhug yagna-sādhana-ha ׀ yagnānta-krud yagna-guhya manna-mannāda eva-cha
English meaning
976. Yajñabhṛd – One who is the protector and supporter of all Yajñas. 977. Yajñakṛd – One who performs Yajña at the beginning and end of the world. 978. Yajñī – One who is the Principal, the Lord of Yajña. 979. Yajñabhug – One who is the enjoyer and protector of Yajña. 980. Yajña-sādhanaḥ – One to whom the Yajña is the approach – He is both the means and the end. 981. Yajñāntakṛd – One who is the end and the fruit of Yajña. 982. Yajñaguhyam – The Jñāna Yajña (sacrifice of knowledge), which is the esoteric (Guhyam) essence of all Yajñas. 983. Annam – That which is eaten by living beings; or He who pervades all beings as their sustenance. 984. Annādaḥ – One who is the eater of the whole world as food. Eva (indeed) is added to show that He is also Anna – the food itself.

976 यज्ञभृत् – यज्ञों का धारण पोषण करने वाले, 977 यज्ञकृत् – यज्ञों के रचयिता, 978 यज्ञी – समस्त यज्ञ जिसमें समाप्त होते हैं – ऐसे यज्ञशेषी, 979 यज्ञभुक् – समस्त यज्ञों के भोक्ता, 980 यज्ञसाधनः – ब्रह्मयज्ञ, जपयज्ञ आदि बहुत से यज्ञ जिनकी प्राप्ति के साधन हैं, 981 यज्ञान्तकृत् – यज्ञों का अन्त करने वाले यानी उनका फल देने वाले, 982 यज्ञगुह्यम् – यज्ञों में गुप्त ज्ञान स्वरुप और निष्काम यज्ञ स्वरुप, 983 अन्नम् – समस्त प्राणियों का अन्न की भाँति उनकी सब प्रकार से तुष्टि-पुष्टि करने वाले, 984 अन्नादः – समस्त अन्नों के भोक्ता
