कामदेवः कामपालः कामी कान्तः कृतागमः। अनिर्देश्यवपुर्विष्णुर्वीरोऽनन्तो धनञ्जयः॥७०॥

kāmadevah kāmapālah kāmee kantah krutāgama-ha ׀ anir-deshya-vapur-vishnur veero nanto dhanan-jaya-ha
English meaning
651. Kāmadevaḥ – One who is desired by persons seeking the four values of life – Dharma, Artha, Kāma and Mokṣa. 652. Kāmapālaḥ – One who protects and fulfils the desired ends of people endowed with righteous desires. 653. Kāmī – One who by nature has all His desires perpetually satisfied. 654. Kāntaḥ – One whose form is endowed with great beauty. Or one who effects the dissolution of Brahmā at the end of a Dviparārdha. 655. Kṛtāgamaḥ – He who produced the scriptures – Śruti, Smṛti and Āgama. 656. Anirdeśya-vapuḥ – One whose form cannot be determined, being beyond the Guṇas. 657. Viṣṇuḥ – One whose brilliance has spread over the sky and the earth. 658. Vīraḥ – One who has the power of movement and heroic action. 659. Anantaḥ – One who pervades everything, is eternal, the soul of all, and cannot be limited by space, time or location. 660. Dhanañjayaḥ – Arjuna is so called because by conquering kingdoms in all four quarters he acquired great wealth. Arjuna is a Vibhūti, a glorious manifestation of the Lord.

651 कामदेवः – धर्म, अर्थ, काम और मोक्ष – इन चारों पुरुषार्थों को चाहने वाले मनुष्यों द्वारा अभिलषित समस्त कामनाओं के अधिष्ठाता परमदेव, 652 कामपालः – सकामी भक्तों की कामनाओं की पूर्ति करने वाले, 653 कामी – स्वभाव से ही पूर्ण काम और अपने प्रियतमों को चाहने वाले, 654 कान्तः – परम मनोहर श्याम सुन्दर देह धारण करने वाले गोपीजन वल्लभ, 655 कृतागमः – समस्त वेद और शास्त्रों को रचने वाले, 656 अनिर्देश्यवपुः – जिसके दिव्य स्वरुप का किसी प्रकार भी वर्णन नहीं किया जा सके, 657 विष्णुः – शेषशायी भगवान विष्णु, 658 वीरः – बिना पैरों के ही गमन करने आदि अनेक दिव्य शक्तियों से युक्त, 659 अनन्तः – जिनके स्वरुप, शक्ति, ऐश्वर्य, सामर्थ्य और गुणों का कोई भी पार नहीं पा सके, 660 धनञ्जयः – अर्जुन रूप से दिग्विजय के समय बहुत सा धन जीतकर लाने वाले
